Current Openings - Software Tester
Epic River currently has an opening for a Software Tester to work on testing multiple software applications within our product line. This is an entry level position and previous experience is helpful, but not required. Testers must be flexible in their schedule and willing to work full and part-time for short periods of time as product deliveries are provided.

Candidates will need to have experience using standard microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Solid understanding of the Internet and various browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.)
The ability to read and understand test plans and test cases (scripts) as well as follow step by step directions is critical.
Candidates will need to be able to write clear explanations of product defects discovered as part of their testing. Accuracy in documentation is important in the planning of future product releases.
Job Responsibilities
The following duties for this position include:
- Ensures all test plans and test cases are executed in an accurate and timely fashion
- Ensures all defects generated as a result of testing are clearly and accurately documented
- Provide feedback on all aspects of product testing to ensure the continuous improvement of the product test plans and test cases, as well as Epic River's testing processes
Experience
Based on our current product testing needs, the following experience is desirable but not required and most importantly the selected candidate must be able to conduct functional testing on our software applications:
Experience in the Banking Industry (Teller, Customer Service Representative, Loan Officer, etc.)
Experience in Rental Property Management - People who have used Internet based tools to search for rental properties, to list properties on the Internet for rent, or have rented a property using Internet based tools are desired.
Compensation
Position is paid hourly with no benefits package offered. Salary will commensurate with experience. Epic River is a Family Friendly workplace, with some flexibility of work schedule.
